This quickie will show you How to Draw A Digital Clock using Inkscape.

Start with a vertically long red Rectangle.

Add a Node at the top and bottom.

Move these New nodes outwards.

Use the Ruler to make sure they make a 45 Degree angle, or as close as possible.

Make a Duplicate and rotate it 90 degrees.

Now create a new horizontal Rectangle, and smooth the edges with the Rectangle's handle.

Make a Duplicate and scale it down to fit inside.

Create another Duplicate and scale it to fit inside the previous.

Now make 3 more rounded off Rectangles for the buttons.

Make a long one for the Snooze button and 2 short ones.

Place them behind near the Top.

Add text to the left side for PM and ALARM.

Add 1 or 2 red Circles.

Then Blur the circle(s).

Go back to your first Shapes.

You can Duplicate and Move these to create numbers.

You can put these numbers on your Clock.

Move them around to get the Numbers you want.

Add 2 red Circles after the first number.

Slightly Blur the numbers and circles.

Once you've done that, you've made yourself a Digital Clock!
